Baldwin County Heritage Museum

Foley Archives & History Museum

The museum will delight young and old. Located in the renovated L&N train depot you'll see train memorabilia including a box car and caboose as well as artifacts from the city of Foley’s past.

The historic brick fortress of 1821 guarded the western approaches to Mobile Bay during the 1864 Battle of Mobile Bay which was one of the Civil War's most notable sea battles. The site has a museum and the Sand Island Lighthouse can be seen from the Fort. The Fort is open daily. 251-861-6992

Ft. Morgan

This Civil War Stronghold was the eastern sentry point for the guard of Mobile Bay. Come see the fort and its museum. Check the calendar of events for reenactments of battles. The ferry service on site can take you to explore the west coast of Mobile Bay. AL Hwy 180 West. Gulf Shores. 251-540-7125

In addition to the wealth of periodicals that you would expect at any library, Orange Beach offer best -selling authors, free software, free books, automatic returns, no late fees anytime from Camellia Net found on the Orange Beach website. Robinson Island

Pull up your boat on the shores of Robinson Island at the Mouth of Per dido Pass. The 35 acres of water area with protected grass beds and beach attract fish, birds and boaters. Please keep the beach area clean and remember boaters are to keep clear of the east side of the island to prevent prop scarring of the grass beds.

The Boggy Point Boat Launch

Located at the end of Marina Road in Orange Beach AL, the newly opened boat launch will accommodate 36 vehicles with boat trailers at no charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Estuarium at Dauphin Island Sea Lab
